Donations & Sponsorships
WAFCU strongly believes in investing in our community. If you are seeking a donation, please submit a sponsorship request letter. All requests will be considered and reviewed on a weekly basis. If you would like more information or have any questions, email info@watfcu.org.
Discounts for Members
WAFCU is always actively seeking ways to help our members save money. Please call us for more details.
Financial Literacy
WAFCU has a strong commitment to financial literacy. We conduct classroom presentations for all grade levels, provide teachers with financial education tools, and host field trips (including credit union tours) for students. If you are interested in any of these programs, email info@watfcu.org.
Scholarships
Every year, WAFCU provides scholarships to local high school students who are pursuing higher education. Applicants must be graduating from a school in our field of membership and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Scholarships are awarded to students who display academic achievement, exemplary character and leadership, and provide service to the community.
Sponsor-A-Classroom
Twice a year, WAFCU donates $250 to faculty and staff of eligible school districts. Applicants highlight how they are making an educational impact and describe how the grant would benefit their classrooms.
WAFCU Caring Fund
WAFCU established a Caring Fund to carry out the Credit Union philosophy: People Helping People. The goal is to expand this philosophy beyond our member services and into Washington area communities. To learn more about the Caring Fund or find out how you can help, please visit one of our branch locations or email info@watfcu.org.
